Our history

The Bangladesh Awami League Australia chapter was established in 1997 by community leaders who united Bangladeshi-Australians around democracy, secularism, and the ideals of Bangabandhu. For nearly three decades the chapter has organised cultural programmes, welfare support, and civic engagement across multiple states.

    Formal incorporation in NSW

    The chapter strengthened its governance with registered incorporation and regular committee elections.
